Bronco Reservations Program is Over

When the 2021 Bronco was officially revealed, Ford announced a reservation program for “early adopters”, in which customers could specify the configuration of their cars, then wait for delivery later on. The program proved to be successful, resulting in more than 130,000 reservations. 

At the same time, it had also proven problematic, due to various production difficulties that made it very tough for Ford to keep its promises.

The company is preparing to re-launch full-scale Bronco production, starting in October, and is now hoping leave all those delays behind. With that being said, Ford has officially stopped taking any more orders through the reservation program, but has also announced that deliveries of previously ordered vehicles  will extend through the 2022 calendar year.

Forza Horizon 5 Will Feature Several Broncos

One of the best driving games of all time is the iconic Forza Horizon franchise, which incorporates wide open spaces and fantastic scenery with a long list of available cars and excellent graphics. For years it was the go-to title for all driving enthusiasts who wanted to spend hours getting lost while driving at high speed in the virtual world.

Set to release in November 2021, Forza Horizon 5, the newest installment in the series, will use Mexico as its virtual location, and will feature several Bronco models, including the 2021 lineup. We feel that this is the perfect way to spend boring winter nights -- practicing jumping sand dunes, sliding in the dirt, and piloting your dream Bronco for maximum performance -- all from the comfort of your home.

High-End Bronco Die-Cast To Be Released

If you're a fan of big, 1:18-scale diecast models, you've probably heard of the ACME company, which specializes in producing domestic car replicas with a high level of detail, including factory-correct colors and options.

We've already covered an essential die cast guide for 2021 Bronco fans, but this model has just been released, and it's on pre-order and will be available in December. It's a 2021 Bronco First Edition in 1:18-scale, in a correct shade of Lightning Blue and with all the right options, perfect proportions, and just the right stance.

First 2021 Bronco With Solid Front Axle

Broncos have always been vehicles that readily lent themselves to modification and the 2021 model is no different. Along with the various visual enhancements and factory-approved components that have emerged, we're also eager to see some serious improvements, such as a solid axle swap.

As you know, Broncos come with independent front suspensions, since Ford’s engineers wanted to equip the Bronco with a bit more comfort while street driving, but Kyle (delfab_ on Instagram) has now performed the first solid axle swap known to the Bronco community. Massive 40-inch tires accompany the swap, and we can't wait to see how it performs on the trail.
